Enhancing Justice Response to Sexual Assault Investigations

A two-day virtual training designed to support sworn Saskatchewan municipal police, RCMP, and Crown prosecutors focused on strengthening sexual assault investigations.

April 29th & 30th, 2026

Enhancing Justice Response in Sexual Assault Investigations is a two-day fully funded virtual training designed to support Saskatchewan police officers investigating sexual assault files. Hosted by the Coalition of Sexual Assault Centres – Saskatchewan (CRSAC) and supported by the Government of Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice, the training reflects ongoing collaboration between government, police services, and community partners working to strengthen investigative responses to sexual violence.

The training is focused on strengthening sexual assault investigations through trauma‑informed practices and applied skill‑building. Participants will learn how trauma affects memory and behaviour, gain practical tools for interviewing and investigative decision‑making, and work through realistic, multi-perspective scenarios with guidance from leading experts.
